Femgineer Intro to Crypto and Blockchain Videos

Femgineer

2 part interview with Poornima Vijayashanker, founder of Femgineer. Poornima is an engineer and entrepreneur. She is also a teacher at various tech programs in San Francisco such as General Assembly, Parisoma, and Hackbright. She took apart her first computer at age 14, majored in EECS at Duke, and was a founding engineer at Mint.com (which I love using! Keep that credit score high) She left Mint to start her own company and has otherwise been busy giving TEDx talks on tinkering, publishing eBooks like "How to Transform Your Ideas Into Software Products", and publishing actual books like "Present! A Techie's Guide to Public Speaking" with Karen Catlin .

Poornima founded Femgineer in 2007 in order to write about her experiences, and show that "women can be sophisticated, cultured, and still be engineers, Femgineers!". She has also said that if society wants to see more women in technology careers, then it is important to have more role models for women in technology. She also emphasizes the importance of encouraging women to pursue "hard-core engineering or finance roles" because these jobs are more likely to lead to top positions in the company. Hear hear Poornima! That is exactly why I publish and speak at conferences...and do video interviews.

These video interviews are a 2 part series covering the basics of blockchain and cryptocurrency, for those who are crypto curious and just starting to get involved.
