SF Crypto Product Manager Group: Good Product Management in Turbulent Times VIRTUAL

  • https://zoom.us/j/5532814895 United States (map)

The purpose of SF Crypto Product Managers is to build a community for Crypto PMs and serve as a hub for buidlers. Many crypto native products are still struggling to find product market fit. However, we believe that by sharing best practices from personal experience and by sharing what is working well is the best way to accelerate mass adoption.

Join us for the next SF Crypto Product Manager virtual meetup! This is our first-ever virtual meetup and we couldn't be more excited to open this up to a broader audience outside of the Bay Area. We welcome buidlers who want to openly discuss what is working well and not working well in the blockchain space. The topics we will cover during this meetup are Product Management during turbulent times and Product Management in DeFi.

Rika Sukenik, Product Manager at Skale, and Daeki Lee, Co-founder/PM at ICX Station, will talk about the importance of good Product Management during turbulent times. They will talk about everything from product strategy, goal setting, and roadmaps to managing distributed teams and building team rapport.

Jeff Wu, Co-Founder of Swapnet, will talk about crypto markets and why DeFi is here for the long haul. He will frame the conversation in the context of the innovator's dilemma, explaining what is currently working well in Defi, how he thinks DeFi will compete in the long-term with the incumbent financial players, and what Product Managers need to know when building a DeFi product.

Agenda:

5:30 - 5:40 Intro

5:40 - 6:00 Product Management during turbulent times

6:00 - 6:30 DeFi Product Management with SwapNet

6:30 - 7:00 Open discussion
